Abstract

This collection contains 18 letters written from William Jordan of Rawlings, Wyoming to his sweetheart Mae Hanley from 1912-1915. Mae was living in Ogden Utah from time period working for W. H. Wright and Sons store. The letters detail Jordan's live in Wyoming and his wishing for Mae's return. This collection was purchased from Ebay in 2004.

Walter Norman Jacobsen was a prominent Western artist that owned a gallery in Ogden called Summer Studio and Gallery. He was born Feb. 11, 1911 in Logan Utah he was the son of Norwegian immigrants.

Its membership consisted of the wives of the members of the University Club of Ogden and other women who had at least two years of college work or its equivalent.
