The collection consists of Helen Hinckley (Jones)’ notes relating to biography, found in a copy of “Eminent Victorians” by Lytton Strachey, biographical sketches of Theodore Judah and Helen Hinckley (Jones), printer’s proof of “Rails from the West”, and a biographical account of Theodore Judah, and an uncorrected proof of “A Wall and Three Willows” by Najmeh Najafi, recounting experiences in Iran.

Silence,” 1974, concerning the effect of culture on the human mind; a Xerox copy of an outline,
“Dimensions in Reading Literature and the Welfare of Mankind,” by Dr. Lavon B. Carroll,
January 12, 1978. A Xerox copy of the manuscript “Literature and the Welfare of Mankind”; a
printer’s proof of a manuscript, “Values in Literature.”

Vardis Fisher Correspondence
Letters and notes between author Vardis Fisher and Clarence Major of Omaha, Nebraska, November - December, 1963. Topics of the correspondence include Fisher’s comments on his personal favorite book which he has written and his views on the politics of several Idaho newspapers.
Weber Reads Collection
This collection contains materials regarding the Weber Reads project that started in 2008. It was a joint effort between Weber County Libraries and Weber State University. The collection is divided by project and includes posters, teacher’s guides, and background research. The collection was donated by Dr. Kathryn MacKay.
