The Sisters came to Ogden in the late forties to start and run St. Benedict’s Hospital and to open a school of nursing to better help the community they were moving into. Scope and Contents This collection contains the records of nursing students who attended the Dee School of Nursing from 1913-1955. Each folder charts the progress of each student nurse through training and through each floor of the hospital. There are nursing supervisor comments as well as some by the doctors themselves listed. War Service Cards

This collection contains service cards for servicemen from Weber County primarily during World War I, but also some from World War II. The cards are listed alphabetically by last name. Most of the cards include information such as their home address in Weber County, their branch of service, countries served in, discharge or death dates, and next of kin. There are also fewer than two dozen cards for nurses and Forest Service personnel.
