Thomas K. Turner FBI Notebook
This collection contains Vol. I of a 2 volume set on Thomas Turner’s attendance at the FBI National Academy in 1953. Turner was a member of the Utah State Highway Patrol. Subjects covered in the notebook include crime prevention, investigations and enforcement, and police training. Of interest is a letter to Mr. Turner from J. Edgar Hoover acknowledging the work put into the notebooks.

Thunder Cave Corporation
Correspondence and stock certificates concerning the Thunder Cave Corporation,
1931-1934. This corporation was created by Jeremiah Stokes of Salt Lake City and author of a
young peoples’ novel, Thunder Cave, and John S. (Jack) Sears who illustrated it. The primary
purpose for this corporation was to raise money in order to publish the book. Included is a
photocopy of an obituary for Jeremiah Stokes in the Salt Lake Tribune, November 2, 1954.
