Scope and Contents Three Holton family letters. One is from Fred J. Holton to “Eli,” dated September26, 1898. Fred J. Holton was the treasurer of Box Elder County, and “Eli,” an overseasmissionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The letter contains news aboutBox Elder County and Utah, in general, such as B.H. Roberts running for Congress. The othertwo letters, including envelopes, are from Samuel G.
