Scope and Contents The Harris-Hite collection was donated by Sharon Ruth Hite Lewis, granddaughter of MattieWattis Harris. It contains materials that were assembled in binders, each one pertaining to anindividual in the Wattis, Harris or Hite family. Abstract

James Olsen Sr. and James Olsen Jr. worked as Engineers for the Utah Construction and Mining Company. The mines they worked in were primarily in the Western United States. James Olsen Jr. donated this collection to WSU in May 2009. The collection is arranged by subject headings alphabetically with a miscellaneous section placed at the end of the collection.
