Abstract

The collection contains retained carbon copies of correspondence sent by Congressman Dixon while serving in Congress during the years 1957-1958. It also containes some in-coming correspondence and correspondence of Laurence Burton's, who served as Dixon's Legislative Assistant during the years, 1957-1958. The collection was received in 1971 from Laurence Burton.

Scope and Contents MS 118 comprises five (5) document boxes and three (3) volumes pertaining to the political career of Henry Aldous Dixon. It is by no means an exhaustive record of that career. It is, however, an overview of his more important achievements. The collection highlights Congressman Dixon’s involvement with the 84th, 85th and 86th Congresses.
