The American Federation of Labor (AFL) was a national federation of labor unions in the United States, founded in 1886 by Samuel Gompers. It was formed by craft unions, focusing on skilled workers and collective bargaining over wages, benefits, and working conditions. The AFL later merged with the Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO) in 1955 to become the AFL-CIO.

Weber Chapter of the Alpha Iota Sorority
This collection consists of minutes taken from a book of the Weber Chapter of the Alpha Iota Sorority. The female members are alumni from Alpha Iota Chapters throughout the United States. The Alumni Chapter was started in 1944 and then disbanded in 1960.
Weber Club
A gentleman’s club, for members only, the Weber club was started in the late 1890s as an answer
to the Alta Club in Salt Lake City. It provided a place for businessmen within the Ogden
community to meet, socialize and make business deals.
