It is the record of the Cook family from Ogden, Utah. It dates from the 1880s to the 1940s. Percy Albert Cook was among the first dentists in Ogden, Clara Gannaway Cook was his wife. They had three children one daughter who owned a book store in Ogden, one son who was a present of the Masonic Lodge in Ogden as well as the president of one of the basketball leagues.

This collection contains correspondence of J. C. Maher, as well as photographs, newspaper clippings, and other documents relating to Maher’s life. These materials’ creation dates span from 1943 to c. 1983. James Christian Maher was born in Ogden on September 17 of 1910, and graduated from Ogden High School.
