Diary of Henry W. Nelson

Overview This collection contains the diary of Henry Nelson from 1904-1905. During this time, Nelson was serving a LDS mission in Germany. He covers his time in Germany , England , and the steamship trip back to the United States. He included ticket stubs, play bills, and newspaper articles that he collected during this time. See MS 163 for the Fred Kotter Missionary Letters who also was serving in Germany during the same time.

Elizabeth and Donnell Stewart Collection

Overview This collection was gifted to Weber State University Special Collections in 1999 by the Stewart Family following the death of Elizabeth in 1996. The collection contains most memorabilia items from Donnell and Elizabeth such as certificates, plaques, and scrapbooks. Four family albums were disassembled to preserve the photographs but are groups together by subject.

Overview The Fred Kotter Collection was donated by F. Ralph Kotter in November 2001. This collection contains sixty-four letters written from Fred Kotter to his family while on a mission in Germany for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Fred served from 1902-1904. The correspondence is mainly addressed to his father, Henry Kotter and his sister, Nora Kotter. Grant C. Aanesen Diary

Overview This collection contains the diary of Grant C. Aanesen during his German Austrian Mission in 1933. The entries include excerpts of quotes from famous people in English and German. Most of the entries in the diary are in German. It also includes outlines of the Missionary discussions, prayers, answers to frequently asked questions to LDS Missionaries, and Aanesen's personal testimony of the LDS Church. Several pages are dated in 1933.
