Abstract

This collection contains a scrapbook detailing the history of the George R. Day Post 79 in Bountiful, Utah. It includes newspaper clippings, pictures, meeting minutes, and Legion news given by Commanders and other members of the Post. It also contains a list of service men killed during World War I. The items in the scrapbook range in date from 1919-1974.

There is a group of drawings in the early 1940s that includes original blueprints for newly built buildings. Almost every drawing was given a number within a series. This collection contains Ogden, Utah Defense Depot historical information donated by Ernest Cook, Defense Depot historian during 1963-1966. It contains charts, correspondence, programs, early history of the Depot, and the Annual Historical Summary, 1963-1964. Also included are photographs of Depot personnel and buildings.
