American Legion Scrapbook
This collection contains a scrapbook detailing the history of the George R. Day Post 79 in Bountiful, Utah. It includes newspaper clippings, pictures, meeting minutes, and Legion news given by Commanders and other members of the Post. It also contains a list of service men killed during World War I. The items in the scrapbook range in date from 1919-1974.

The history contained in this collection is about the USS G.O. Squier and its namesake, Major
General George Owen Squier written by Fred Galvez who served onboard. It also contains notes
and timeline about Galvez service during WWII.
Hill Air Force Base Newspaper Scrapbook
This collection contains an oversize scrapbook of newspaper clippings. The end half of the book deals with Hill Airforce Base and range from 1957-1959. Also included are clippings on Mardi Gras in New Orleans in 1949, David Watts (Barber in Salt Lake City), Hugh W. Dougall, and Promontory Point.
