Abstract

This collection contains materials collected by the McKay-Dee Foundation. Included are items relating to the Dee School of Nursing, Dee Hospital, Dee Family, McKay Hospital and McKay-Dee Hospital. These include papers, photographs, scrapbooks, and older medical instruments. The items are being housed at Weber State University as part of an agreement with the McKay-Dee Foundation.

Scope and Contents This collection contains the records of nursing students who attended the Dee School of Nursing from 1913-1955. Each folder charts the progress of each student nurse through training and through each floor of the hospital. There are nursing supervisor comments as well as some by the doctors themselves listed.
