The Raymond T. Swenson Collection
The collection consists of a personal letter (plus a photocopy) from Captain Raymond T.
Swenson, USAF, and a copy of his student article on the civil jurisdiction of Mormon
Ecclesiastical Courts, titled “Resolution of Civil Disputes by Mormon Ecclesiastical Courts,”
published in the Utah Law Review, Vol. 1978, No. 3, University of Utah College of Law.
The Reed Swenson Manuscript Collection
The contents of this collection consists of assorted Japanese papers taken from a Japanese post
office on Saipan during World War II. They were donated by Reed Swenson of Weber State
College to Special Collections.

The Richards Roberts Photograph Collection of Railroad and Ogden History
The collection of photographs of early railroad pictures taken largely in Ogden and Weber County and also in Box Elder County, Utah. The photographs include maps, architectural drawings, portraits of railroad officials, panoramic views of railroads, logos, Corinne, Devil’s Slide, Promontory Point, Union Depot and Southern Pacific Shops. The pictures date late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Also the 145th Military Division is shown.
The Robert D. Bingham Manuscript Collection
The contents of this collection consist of two pamphlets, reprints, from The Swedish Pioneer
Historical Quarterly, July 1979, entitled “Swedish-Americans in Utah: A Bilbiography” by
Robert D Bingham.
The Rodney H. Brady Collection
This collection consists of a photograph of Sir Winston Churchill along with a copy of his book, My Early Life to Rodney H. Brady, August 1954. Dr. Brady, President of Weber State College, presented the book and photograph to Special Collections in 1979.
The Roland Parry Collection
The Snow Basin Ski Patrol Collection
This collection contains three scrapbooks of material pertaining to the Snow Basin Ski Patrol, Weber County, Utah. The material consists of brochures, financial statements, letters, news clippings, and photographs which trace the history of the Snow Basin Ski Patrol from 1934 to 1984. This collection has been compiled and maintained by Ralph Johnston.
