The George W. Taggart Manuscript Collection
The collection contains a Xerox copy of a typescript of a journal written by George W. Taggart,
1846-1847 of his journey from Nauvoo, Illinois with the Mormon Battalion. The journal starts
February 17, 1846. Original vocabulary, spelling, and punctuation maintained. The collection
also contains copies of four personal letters written while in the Mormon Battalion from George
Taggart to his wife, Fanny.

The collection consists of photographs of early Ogden street scenes, (19th Century) showing many of Ogden's early buildings.
The Glen Rose Collection
Photograph of the interior of the George H. Tribe and Co. Liquor Store at 24th Street in Ogden (1911 or 1913). Photograph includes several employees at the store. Donated by Glen Rose, 1982.

The Helen Hinckley (Jones) Manuscript Collection
The collection consists of Helen Hinckley (Jones)’ notes relating to biography, found in a copy of “Eminent Victorians” by Lytton Strachey, biographical sketches of Theodore Judah and Helen Hinckley (Jones), printer’s proof of “Rails from the West”, and a biographical account of Theodore Judah, and an uncorrected proof of “A Wall and Three Willows” by Najmeh Najafi, recounting experiences in Iran.

This collection contains photographs that were used in Helen Hinckley Jones's book, Rails From the West, depicting the early railroad days in California.
The Henry Aldous Dixon Collection
The collection contains retained carbon copies of correspondence sent by Congressman Dixon while serving in Congress during the years 1957-1958. It also containes some in-coming correspondence and correspondence of Laurence Burton's, who served as Dixon's Legislative Assistant during the years, 1957-1958. The collection was received in 1971 from Laurence Burton.
