Maw Family Collection
Abstract
The Maw Family Collection consists of records of the Maw family, Annie and Aaron Maw and
their two children Glen and Dorothy. This collection also contains the records of Annie and
Aaron’s extended family. The most direct relatives present are Goodale, Jones, Busswell, and
Bingham.
Materials presented in the collection of newspapers, photographs, correspondence, ledgers, day
books, financial records, and textiles.
Of particular note are the series of LDS Church records including Mutual Improvement
Associations, business records, and genealogy records; Maw family records; and photographs.
The collection is broken up into four main series: Family Records, Subject Files, Photographs
and Textiles. Family Records are listed alphabetically by last married name. The Subject files are
also organized alphabetically and if they are associated with a certain person, they are listed in
parentheses, for example, Military (Glen Maw). Photographs are organized by identified first,
unidentified, then negatives. Textiles are organized physically by size and fragility. Oversize
boxes contain materials related to Glen Maw, Dorothy Maw, Thomas Allen Jones, and Joseph
Scoville.
