Scope and Contents
John was born in Ogden, Utah in 1944. John was passionate about photography throughout his life and began taking photographs for the Ogden Standard Examiner at age 13. John attended Weber State University where he earned his bachelor’s degrees in both Sociology and Photography. During his career, John took photos for numerous entities including the Standard Examiner, Weber State University, Salt Lake Tribune, KSL TV, John Deere, South Ogden Police Department, McKay Dee Hospital, Shupe Corporate Photography, and Intermountain Health Care. He received numerous local, national, and international awards for his photographs.
