The Mona D. Ritchie Photograph Collection
Abstract
The Mona D. Ritchie Photograph Collection was donated to Weber State College by Brigham Young University in 1982. This is not the original collection, but reproduction taken from the negatives. The original collection is housed in the Harold B. Library on the Brigham Young University campus. This collection is classified as P37 and is housed in the Stewart Library’s Department of Special Collections.
This collection contains 69 photographs mostly of Ogden, including Ogden Canyon and Pipeline, area homes and buildings, and Utah Hot Springs. Also entailed are photographs of Saltair and Salt Lake City, including Temple Square.
Most of the photographs appear to have been taken in the early 1900’s although no specific dates are available. Each photograph contains a photographic reproduction, a negative, and a photocopy of the photograph unless otherwise stated. All the photographs are 4” X 5”, black and white, and in good condition.
There are no restrictions placed on the Mona D. Ritchie Photograph Collection. The negatives are available to make reproductions. Laser print photocopies also make good reproductions.
