High Council of the Weber Stake of Zion Letters
Scope and Contents
Three letters addressed to the High Council of the Weber Stake of Zion of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints dated July 6, 1886; July 17, 1886; and May 28, 1892.
The July 6 and July 17 letters are written by Nathan Tanner, Jr. The May 28, 1892 letter is signed
by George Q. Cannon, Joseph Fielding Smith, and Wilford Woodruff and is a photocopy. These
letters concern a complaint from Tanner about a dispute with Job Pingree and how wrongly he
felt he was treated by the High Council of the Weber Stake of Zion over this dispute.
