Biographical or Historical Information
The Office of Cultural Affairs' mission is to "establish and maintain the role of Weber State University as the center of cultural life and performing arts education on the Northern Wasatch Front." Each academic school year the department features "performances and educational residencies of artistic excellence in a diverse range of disciplines." The Office of Cultural Affairs was started in 1973, with Daniel Martino as the first director. The program ended in 2016, and Browning Presents was started in its place in 2016.
