Biographical or Historical Information

Paul Harold Thompson was born in Ogden, Utah, on November 28, 1938, the son of Harold and Elda Thompson. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Utah in 1964, with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. He received both his Master'€™s (1966) and Doctoral (1969) degrees in Business Administration from Harvard Graduate School of Business.

The collection has been arranged into sixteen series by topic. Each series is arranged alphabetically or chronologically as appropriate. Most folder titles were kept as labeled by Thompson'€™s office staff, but not all contents were verified. Of particular importance are the Office Files and Correspondence series, which detail most of the regular operations of Thompson’s office.
