This subgroup consists of records relating to or created by Paul H. Thompson, President of Weber State University from 1991-2002. Paul received a Doctorate in Business Administration from Harvard University in 1969. From 1969-1973, he was an Assistant Professor at Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. From 1973-1990 he worked at Brigham Young University as a professor of Organizational Behavior, chairman of the Department of Organizational Behavior, Assistant Dean of the Graduate School of Management, Dean of the Marriot School of Management, and Vice President of Development and University Relations. He served as president of Weber State University from 1990-2002. He served as president of the LDS Church's Massachusetts Boston Mission.Thompson co-authored a book on management with Gene Dalton in 1986. His wife is Carolyn, and they have six children. In the late 2000s he unsuccessfully ran as a Democrat for the Utah Legislature. He currently lives in Orem, Utah.
