This subgroup consists of records created by or related to the Department of Visual Arts (DOVA). Art courses have been in the curriculum since Weber's beginning, except from 1924-1933 when the school transitioned from a high school to a junior college. Courses were taught again after the school was transferred from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to the state in 1933. One course was taught during Fall 1931 in the history and appreciation of painting and sculpture.

This collection contains requisitions, purchase orders, student time sheets, memoranda and correspondences from Fred S. Rabe and from Photography Services at Weber State University.
