Abstract

The North Ogden Book Club was established in the Fall of 1935 by Emma Reynolds. She invited five friends to get together and read and review the latest published books. At the first meeting, they reviewed It Can't Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis. Over the years, they changed the plan to review new books and any good books they may have missed. After 48-plus years, the club consisted of fourteen members with two charter members still active.
