Scope and Contents

This collection was donated by the North Ogden History Museum. It contains pictures, documents, and newspapers from the Ogden area. The pictures depict landscapes and parades that were held in Ogden spanning many years. The documents contain materials from different businesses and buildings that have been apart of Ogden history.

Abstract

This collection contains photographs and early documents from Olene Walker and the Smith family. It also houses the awards and memorabilia during Walker's political career.

Arrangement The collection has been arranged into sixteen series by topic. Each series is arranged alphabetically or chronologically as appropriate. Most folder titles were kept as labeled by Thompson'€™s office staff, but not all contents were verified. Of particular importance are the Office Files and Correspondence series, which detail most of the regular operations of Thompson’s office. Arrangement This collection is organized into the four categories alphabetically then alphabetically by sub-category and then chronologically within the sub-categories. The only exception to this are the past productions which are not in chronological, but alphabetical order. Abstract

This collection contains photocopies and scanned prints of materials held in a private collection by Robert Chugg. The collection includes Ogden brochures, photographs, postcards and stereoviews of the surrounding areas.

This collection is divided up into nine series: Series 1: General office files, 1937-2009; Series 2: Athletics, 1972-1985; Series 3: Board of Regents, 1978-1985; Series 4: Correspondence, 1978-1987; Series 5: Other colleges, universities, and public schools, 1975-1985; Series 6: Individuals, 1975-1985; Series 7: Academic schools, 1974-1988; Series 8: Boy Scouts of America and Cub Scouts, 1976-1981; and Series 9: the Brady Years at Weber, 1978-1985.

Scope and Contents

The collection includes meeting minutes, reports, agendas, statistics, curriculum, requisitions, memoranda, newsletters, personal writings, newspaper clippings, photographs, event flyers, and programs. Writings of Reed Swenson’s family, and personal items of Ruth and Reed including photographs.
