vary from 1886 to 1927, and items include a business card, invitation to reception, Standard

Examiner receipt, and property tax notices.

Postcards from various states sent to George, Vera, and Betty Bowman of Ogden,

Utah, during period of 1937, 1942, 1946, and 1952. George Patton Bowman married Vera

Petersen December 31, 1920. George Bowman’s father was William Andrew Bowman and his

mother was Emma Theresa Dye.

Letter from George E. Maule addressed to “Dear Brother,” dated August 20,

1909, Ogden, Utah. Letter concerns “Bamberger proposition” about some real estate, and the

“Kadich Investment Co. matter” and Fred J. Kiesel. There is also some mention of an “irrigation

scheme” and the Utah Legislature.

Biographical sketch, correspondence, news clippings, and photographs of George L. Nichols, Ogden, Utah, 1896 – 1972. Included is The National Society of Professional Engineers Membership certificate for George L. Nichols, who was a member of the Utah Society of Professional Engineers, dated October 20, 1952. This certificate is located in the MSS Oversize Drawer.
