Letter from Ellen Crismon to Seraph Young from Ogden, Utah, dated May 14,
____ (ca. 1900). Letter discusses local travels of Ellen and requests a favor from Seraph to help
post a letter for an “Eva” who has used the name of “May.” Photocopy of letter is included.
Don Emerson WWII Collection
The Don Emerson Collection was donated by Don in 2016. This collection contains two series; this first contains information and photographs pertaining to his service during World War II in Africa and Italy, including artifacts. This includes his Purple Heart, dog tags and a German Iron Cross. The miscellaneous series contains information and photograms from his childhood in Iowa.
Douglas R. Stringfellows’ Christmas Card
Christmas card from Utah U.S. House of Representatives member, Douglas R.
Stringfellow and his family, 1953. Stringfellow was a Republican, elected in 1952 and eventually
exposed for fraud because of falsifying much of his World War II military experiences. Card
shows cartoon-like characters of Stringfellow and his family.

This collection contains business records between Eccles Lumber Co. and Becker Brewery from 1900-1914. This collection was purchased in 2006.
Edmond Arthur Littlefield Collection
This collection contains personal letters and photos of Edmond Arthur Littlefield principally from his service in the American Field Service during World War I. Other items include pre and post WWI letters and photos. The collection was donated by Denise Sobel, his granddaughter. The collection is principally divided into two main parts, correspondence and photographs. Sub groups and chronology follows.
