This collection contains a scrapbook detailing the history of the George R. Day Post 79 in Bountiful, Utah. It includes newspaper clippings, pictures, meeting minutes, and Legion news given by Commanders and other members of the Post. It also contains a list of service men killed during World War I. The items in the scrapbook range in date from 1919-1974.

This collection was donated by Lowell Marriott Harrop and Jerry Harrop. It contains the information about Orion Charles Marriott who was an employee of the Union Pacific Railroad as well as the Southern Pacific Railroad. He was also a member of the American Legion post in Ogden Utah.
