Program of events, July 2, 1890 for the Rocky Mountain

Carnival, Ogden, Utah. Program includes numerous

advertisements for local businesses. Also included is a

photocopy of a chapter from The Mistick Krewe by Perry

Young, 1969. “The Masque of Monte Cristo” describes

the people and events of the Rocky Mountain Carnival

for 1890. The Mistick Krewe is located in the Special

Collections at Weber State University.

Richard Roberts Photograph Album Collection

This collection contains photographs from 2 albums that were donated by Richard Roberts in 2004. The first was dismantled and the photographs arranged by subject. They include photographs of the 1919 Armistice parade in Ogden and the 1918 arrival of a British and French plane to promote the sell of war bonds. The second album remains intact and contains photographs from Ogden Canyon and buildings and scenery from Ogden.
