This collection contains letters written to Claude Barnes while he was attending college and while he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint in England. Scope and Contents

Margaret Isabelle Montgomery was born October 13, 1877. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Montgomery and Nancy Marie Clark and was the 5th child in the family. Margaret attended school in North Ogden and Ogden, graduating from Ogden High School in 1895. She taught school for a few years in what was then known as the Randall District, which was located in the southeast area of North Ogden.
