This collection contains items collected for exhibit use during the 2004 UCC Symposium. It includes items relating to the Central Pacific, Union Pacific, Southern Pacific, and Western Pacific Railroads.

Questions and written responses to the Rainbow Letter exhibit

Brochure, correspondence, memorabilia, newspaper articles, photographs, publications, reports, surveys, and other miscellaneous items tracing the history of Ogden, Utah and the Snow Basin Ski Patrol, Weber County, Utah, 1932-1995. Compiled and maintained by Ralph Johnston. Donated by Ralph Johnston, 1997.

This collection came from Ralph S. Thompson. It includes brief histories on the Cattle Industry in Ogden, Native plants to Weber County , and his time at the Naval Supply Depot- Clearfield.

On photograph is written: UH1 12-14-49 (INP Sound photo) Ogden, Utah—Ray Dempsey Gardner, 28—year old slayer of an Ogden babysitter, Shirley Jean Gretzinger, 17, is manacled and returned to jail by Sheriff Mac Wade. Gardner will receive the death sentence Friday since the jury did not recommend leniency.

Contains family photocopies of the Western family including photos of Ogden Canyon, Old Mill, Ogden Street Scenes during a flood, and Pioneers Days with a photo of Harmon Peery. Also contains a CD-R of the photographs.

A collection and personal and work photographs and papers. The first half of the collection is Manuscripts with personal papers followed by work papers. The second half is photographs with personal photographs followed by work photographs. There is a note on each folder as to where the corresponding photographs or manuscripts are located. The collection was kept in original order.
