Scope and Contents John was born in Ogden, Utah in 1944. John was passionate about photography throughout his life and began taking photographs for the Ogden Standard Examiner at age 13. John attended Weber State University where he earned his bachelor’s degrees in both Sociology and Photography. This collection contains a typescript copy of Alfred Young’s autobiographical journal. The original is in possession of Mrs. Sara B. Young, Corinne, UT. The journal consists of his account of a vision received from “a spirit from God” and the events following that vision.
