This scrapbook contains records kept by the different gleaner Stake Secretaries from 1934 –

1940. Records include organizational records, photographs, ephemera, and newspaper clippings

related to the organization’s events.

Items related to the Ogden, Utah Tabernacle of the Church of Jesus Christ of

Latter-day Saints. Includes a program for a concert of John Philip Sousa and his band held

December 1, 1919; a souvenir program for “Dedicatory Services, Ogden Latter-day Saints’

Tabernacle,” Sunday, February 12, 1956; and a program for “The First Annual David O. McKay

Honor Day,” February 25, 1965.

This collection contains a photograph of the Ogden Tabernacle Choir in 1905. The photograph was taken in Portland during the Lewis and Clark Exposition. Some of the members are identified on the back.

This collection contains correspondence to and from David W. Evans of Ogden, Utah. Most of the correspondence is retained copies sent from Evans. The bulk of the alphabetized collection concerns the death of Evans' wife, Mamie. Some of the most notable letters are from David O. McKay and Joseph Fielding Smith.

Petitions from Ogden and Weber County, Utah schools and from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints wards and stakes from the Ogden and Weber County area, 1947, for financial support of the erection of two monuments on City Hall Park, Ogden for Ogden pioneers James Brown and Lorin Farr. This project was arranged and organized by the State Centennial Committee.
