This collection contains originals and copies of photographs collected by Dr. Richard Roberts. Most of the photographs were used in his book co-author with Dr. Richard Sadler titled “Weber County’s History.” The files may also include the caption and sidebar used in the book.
Photographs of the Great Salt Lake resort, Saltair, Utah circa 1900 and 1928. Images include Saltair’s exterior and interior, bathers, and tourists strolling outside the resort.
The contents of this collection consist of one manuscript titled A Place to Remember: The Hermitage Resort and photographs which depict the history of the Hermitage Resort, Ogden Canyon, Utah from its beginnings to 1939. Compiled and written by Eugene M. Higashiyama, 1978. Numbers on photographs do not correspond with numbers and pages in manuscript and photographs are on loan to the donor and are not part of the collection.
