Eunice – Thelia Correspondence

Scope and Contents Letter from “Eunice” to “Thelia”, Ogden, Utah dated July 19, 1891. Letter is

filled with news about children and other homey matters. There is some suggestion that Thelia

may be a sister, since Eunice requests that Thelia tell “mother” that one of Eunice’s babies has

his cradle.

Several letters are written in German and these have typewritten pages of English translation. Also included is a genealogy page for the Kiesel family. Letters are dated 1857, 1860, 1862, and 1863.

Overview The Fred Kotter Collection was donated by F. Ralph Kotter in November 2001. This collection contains sixty-four letters written from Fred Kotter to his family while on a mission in Germany for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Fred served from 1902-1904. The correspondence is mainly addressed to his father, Henry Kotter and his sister, Nora Kotter.
