This collection contains two series; this first contains information and photographs pertaining to his service during World War II in Africa and Italy, including artifacts. This includes his Purple Heart, dog tags and a German Iron Cross. The miscellaneous series contains information and photograms from his childhood in Iowa.

Stringfellow and his family, 1953. Stringfellow was a Republican, elected in 1952 and eventually

exposed for fraud because of falsifying much of his World War II military experiences. Card
