Abstract
Photographs of the Friedrich Johann Kiesel (Fred J.) family. Kiesel,b. 1851 - d. 1919, was a prominent early Ogden, Utah businessman and the first non-Mormon mayor of Ogden. Photographs in this collection are of his parents, Louise B. and Friedrich C. Kiesel, and his brother, Henry Kiesel and his wife. These photographs were taken in the Kiesels’ homeland of Germany.
