It is the 15th war of the Gaza–Israel conflict, and has sparked an ongoing Middle Eastern crisis. The first day was the deadliest in Israel's history and the war is the deadliest for Palestinians in the history of the broader Israeli–Palestinian conflict.

The Broom Hotel in Ogden, Utah, was a prominent landmark built in 1883 at the northwest corner of 25th Street and Washington Boulevard. It was known for its "strictly modern" conveniences and luxurious amenities. The hotel was a popular destination for travelers, with 70 rooms, including 34 elegant parlors and suites. It was a three-story structure, considered a gem among Ogden's hotels, and was a popular subject for photographs. The hotel was eventually demolished in 1959.
