Utah Wool Growers' Association Membership Ledger

Abstract

This collection contains a bound ledger book with an alphabetical list of members for 1901-1902. Jesse M. Smith kept the record. Entry information includes: names, addresses, number of sheep, initiation fee, dues, assessments, and any remarks such as the moving of a member and a member going out of business. Membership ranges throughout the state of Utah with a few members from Nevada, Idaho, and Wyoming.

Scope and Contents Peery’s Egyptian Theater was born out of the worldwide “Egyptomania” sparked by the 1922 discovery of King Tutankhamen’s tomb.
