It is the record of the Cook family from Ogden, Utah. It dates from the 1880s to the 1940s. Percy Albert Cook was among the first dentists in Ogden, Clara Gannaway Cook was his wife. They had three children one daughter who owned a book store in Ogden, one son who was a present of the Masonic Lodge in Ogden as well as the president of one of the basketball leagues.

This collection contains letters written to Cora Kasius upon her retirement from the journal Social Casework. The letters are alphabetized by the office on the letterhead. Included is the author of the letter and date. Cornelia (Cora) Kasius (1897-1984) left Utah for New York City, where she could gain economic security and career advancement.
