Ogden Arsenal Photograph
Abstract
Contains copy of newspaper Salt Lake Tribune, Tuesday morning June 18, 1929, and photograph with writing: “The Ogden arsenal of the U.S. Army, near Ogden, Utah, is mostly in ruins, as a result of a sudden terrific gale. Thirty large buildings were razed, a mile of newly erected 10-foot wire fence was flattened. Some of the wrecked magazines contained artillery and anti-aircraft shells and thousands of rounds of other ammunition, but there were no explosions. Photo shows a close up of one of the ruined buildings.”
