Writing on photograph: “Call the Firemen Lads, This Goo is Like Glue, Ogden, Utah—Harold Hansen (Left) and Kenneth Farr (Center) thought playing in the mud would be fun, that is until they got stuck in it. Neighbor boys Vernal Duane and Junior Fronk (shown with plank) were able to get Hansen out but when it came to getting Farr out of his gooey plight all efforts failed until the Ogden City firemen came to the rescue and extricated him with the use of shovels.”
