This is a collection of an investigation into the development of the Snowbasin ski area for the

2002 Utah Olympics that Pat Bean collected as a news journalist. It contains information on Earl

Holding, the land exchange from Federal recreational land to private land, environmental and

appraisal reports of those lands, plans for the development of the area and government

involvement of the sale. Also included are opinion letters, appeals and news clippings that were

published by Pat Bean and various other reporters.
