James Culbertson Collection
Scope and Contents
This collection contains documents, papers, photographs, and objects from James Culbertson’s life (1919-2012), with dates of creation spanning from 1924 to 1995. The bulk of the collection consists of documents, photographs, and objects from Culbertson’s military service as a pilot, with that service spanning nonconsecutively from the years 1941 to 1979. Culbertson served in WWII and the Korean War. Culbertson served in both active duty and reserve capacities, and retired from the Air National Guard in 1979.
It is organzied into five series:
