Barratt Chadwick Collection
Scope and Contents
This collection consists of materials related to the life and work of Barrett Chadwick (1916-1944). Chadwick was born in American Fork, Utah, graduated from American Fork High School, and then graduated from Brigham Young University in 1937. Chadwick wrote the column “Barratt with Chadwick” for a BYU newspaper, Y News. He then worked for the Salt Lake branch of the KLO broadcasting company, which was owned by the Ogden Standard Examiner as of 1934. Chadwick later worked as production manager for the KSL radio station until his early death in 1944, due to pneumonia.
