Scope and Contents
This collection contains interviews conducted with Mark Hofmann, who was convicted of forgery and two counts of second-degree murder in 1987. The interviews were conducted from February to May 1987 at the Utah State Prison, and prepared by Deputy Salt Lake County Attorneys Robert L. Stott and David Biggs before Mark Hofmann plead guilty in the Third District Court on January 23, 1987. Folder 6 contains scans of Hofmann’s forgeries, which were mainly directed toward LDS church historical documents.
