Scope and Contents

This collection contains letters from the Ririe family spanning two wars, and it is organized into two series; Correspondence and Miscellaneous. They span his time in the Navy, including his time as medic serving in hospitals in the South Pacific. Miscellaneous contains letters that do not fall into either category, including a letter from King George of England thanking the American Soldiers for coming to their aid during World War One.

The Miscellaneous series contains memorabilia that came with the letters including a commencement program for Weber State University, 1950.
