Letter to the Special Collections Department, Stewart Library, Weber State
University from George Brasell of Christchurch, New Zealand dated May 2002. This letter
concerns his involvement with the World War II New Zealand Hospital Ship, “Wanganella”.
This ship was moored in the Manapouri Deep Cove while the Utah Construction Company
helped build the first tailrace tunnel project there in Doubtful Sound off the coast of South
Island, New Zealand in the mid-1960s. The letter contains some history of the ship. Photocopy.
