Bibliography
Sessions received a master’s degree in business administration from New York University in 1950 and then a doctoral degree from Harvard Business School in 1962. He was appointed as a lecturer at Stanford Graduate School of Business and was dean of the Stanford-led graduate school ESAN in Lima, Peru, from 1966-1968. He was appointed dean of the School of Business and Economics at Weber State College from 1975-1978. Sessions, through his company Sterling Resources International, Inc., created marketing and strategy materials for various businesses starting in 1970. Sessions co-authored A History of Utah International: From Construction to Mining in 2005, as well as authoring a memoir, Where Safety Lies in 2010. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission in Texas. He also served as a bishop of the BYU 11th Ward and Palo Alto First Ward.
