This subgroup consists of records relating to or created by Stephen D. Nadauld, President of Weber State College from 1985-1991. Stephen was born on May 31, 1942 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He received a B.A. in chemistry from Brigham Young University in 1967, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1969, and a PhD from the University of California at Berkeley in 1978. While working on his PhD, he was an instructor of finance at the University of California at Berkeley from 1972-1976. In 1976 he was named Outstanding Teacher of the Year in the School of Business. He also attended he Univeristy of Idaho and Ricks College (Brigham Young University-Idaho). Nadauld served an LDS mission in France from 1961-1964. From 1969-1970, he served as assistant to the chairman of the board of the Holly Sugar Corporation. He taught finance at the University of Utah from 1970-1972. He married Margaret Dyreng in 1968, and they have seven sons. From 1976-1983, he taught at Brigham Young University as a professor of finance and Director of the M.B.A. program. He was honored as an Outstanding Professor of the BYU Graduate School of Management in 1977. In the summer of 1982, Nadauld was an Ayres Fellow of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking in Rutgers, New Jersey. From 1983-1985 he was the Chief Executive Officer of Intermountain Milk Producers. From 1985-1991, he served as President of Weber State College. During his tenure he was instrumental in Weber State's preparations to become a state university. In 1991, he was awarded an honorary doctorate degree from Weber State. From 1991-1996, Nadauld was a member of the LDS Church's Second Quorum of the Seventy. From 1996-2003 and 2006-2008 he was a professor of Business Management at Brigham Young University. From 2003-2006 he served as president of the LDS Church's Switzerland Geneva Mission. From 2008-2010 he served as Interim President of Dixie State College. Since 2010 he has served as President of that institution.
