This subgroup contains the records of the Office of Sponsored Projects. The Office of Sponsored Projects oversees all the pre-award and post-award sponsored project activities. The staff assists from the pre-proposal state, to the receipt and processing of the award, and through the account management process. Created in 1967, it has previously known as the Bureau for Research and Development; Bureau of Academic Research; Center for Research and Development; Department Grants and Contracts; and Office of Research and Development.
